Request InfoUS Conec Ltd.HICKORY, N.C., Feb. 10, 2015 — The new MTP connector kit from US Conec supports direct coupling to 900-μm loose- or tight-buffered fibers. The 900-μm MTP connector kit mechanically couples the buffer tubes, eliminating the need for epoxy in the critical cable-exit portion of the connector. Transition components can also be used independently from the connector, resulting in an ultracompact ribbon fiber to a 900-μm breakout kit for factory or field installation. Loose buffer tubes can be furcated over an MTP ribbon connector pigtail which has been fanned out into individual 250-μm coated fibers.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPhotonics.com 3/29/2024Pump Laser ModulesThe uncooled pump laser modules from Coherent are made with Coherent’s G10 series laser diode technology and are meant to be used in submarine and both single- and dual-chip terrestrial...Photonics.com 5/17/2023Touchless Fiber Optic CleanerThe Sticklers™ Pro360™ Touchless Cleaner from MicroCare LLC is designed to quickly and efficiently remove oils and dust across the entire end face surface of both male and female...Photonics.com 3/29/2024Electro-Optical ModulatorsThe 65-GHz and 20-GHz Ultra Low Vπ Intensity Modulators from HyperLight are electro-optical modulators based on high-bandwidth and low-voltage thin-film lithium niobate PIC technology for datacom,...BioPhotonics.com April 2024 IssueAI FPGAsThe Agilex™ 5 FPGAs from Altera and Intel are AI enabled field programmable gate arrays meant for mid-range applications including video, industrial, robotics, medical, and others.
