Request InfoCalmar LaserSUNNYVALE, Calif., March 4, 2011 — Calmar Laser Inc. has added a high-power 780-nm femtosecond fiber laser to its Mendocino family. The Mendocino model FPL-05RFF0 offers >500 mW of output power and a pulse width of 150 fs in an ultracompact laser pointer-style package measuring 3 × 3 × 13.5 cm. It produces a 50-MHz train of femtosecond pulses that have a near pedestal-free shape and good pulse-to-pulse stability. The output beam has roundness better than 90% and M2 < 1.1, enabling optimal spatial resolution when used in conjunction with microscope systems. The laser is air-cooled and does not require a...See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSBioPhotonics.com April 2024 IssueNano-Focus ScannersThe P-725.1CDE1S and P-725.4CDE1S from PI are nano-focus scanner packages for applications including surface metrology, super-resolution microscopy, light sheet microscopy, and digital slide scanning...BioPhotonics Nov/Dec 2023 IssueCompact Femtosecond Fiber LaserThe Carmel X-515 ultracompact laser head from Calmar Laser is a fiber-based femtosecond laser offered in both a scientific — CDRH compliant — version with front panel control knobs and an...Photonics.com 8/8/2022Elevator StagesThe DAG20-120-01 and the DAG20-120-04 motorized elevator stages from Optimal Engineering Systems Inc. are high-resolution, compact, low-profile devices with high-stability 120- × 120-mm tables...BioPhotonics May/Jun 2023 IssueFemtosecond LaserThe Chromacity 920 laser source is designed for two-photon microscopy and the excitation of key fluorophores and calcium markers.
