Jul 1, 2005 — Toptica Photonics AG has introduced the FemtoFiber femtosecond laser system for confocal microscopy, optical coherence tomography and generation of pulsed terahertz radiation. The fiber laser system uses a mode-locked ring oscillator as the master laser and up to two amplifier arms to produce sub-100-fs pulses with a repetition rate of 100 MHz.
