NTT Networking Breakthrough Combines Data Centers
TOKYO, April 15, 2024 — NTT Corporation (NTT) and NTT DATA Group Corporation (NTT DATA) have demonstrated Innovative Optical and Wireless Network (IOWN) All Photonics Network (APN) connections between NTT Group data centers in the U.S. and the U.K. Two data centers, located approximately 100 km apart in the U.K. communicated via IOWN APN connection, and recorded a low delay of 1 ms or less, with similar performance demonstrated in the U.S., NTT said.
