About This Webinar
Technology has improved our lives and continues to create new opportunities and product capabilities. Moving through the development cycles from research to production there are many stages to go through from the original idea conception, the full development cycles and moving into production.

Working on an optical breadboard in a lab is not the ideal tool for processing optical components that will be consumed in manufacturing or sold as end products. The need for advanced spectrophotometers with not only high-performance specifications but flexible sampling capability to meet the current needs of the industry with an eye on future needs. Often overlooked, sampling accessories are the critical link in the transition from development into production.

About the presenter

Chris Lynch joined PerkinElmer in 1978 with the Applied Science Division in Southern California, transitioning to other PKI locations and settling in the East with his family. Over his career he has held a range of positions in engineering and product and program management involving a broad range of technologies. He has been involved in the field of molecular spectroscopy for the past 30 years with an emphasis on UV/Vis and Fluorescence spectroscopy.

Currently, Lynch is a senior field application scientist working closely with customers to define system requirements and implementations. He has given numerous talks on the applications of UV/Vis, UV/Vis/Nir and Fluorescence, covering a broad range of sampling techniques.
