Cymer Inc., a San Diego supplier of deep ultraviolet (DUV) light sources used in semiconductor manufacturing, named Daniel Dunn as vice president of customer satisfaction. He will oversee field service and technical support, documentation and training. Dunn joins Cymer from Novellus Systems, where he held senior management positions.     Deep ultraviolet (DUV or deep-UV) refers to a specific range of ultraviolet light with shorter wavelengths than those in the UV-A and UV-B regions.
