It features a 50-µm- diameter emitting surface, typical output of 2 mW of 880-nm radiation at a current of 50 mA, spectral line half-width of 45 nm, and rise and fall times at 20 ns. The device is available in either chip form or mounted in a TO-18 hermetically sealed glass and metal package.
