Rofin-Sinar Inc.The SC x series of low-power CO2 lasers from Rofin-Sinar Inc. are for cutting paper, glass and plastics; for marking; and for incorporation into rapid prototyping machines. These lasers combine sealed-gas and diffusion-cooled slab laser technology. They use an RF excitation power supply and industrial-design optics to provide a beam quality factor of K >0.8 and pointing stability of <0.2 mrad half angle. Peak power in pulse mode extends to 230 W for the 100-W model and to 480 W with the 200-W model.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPhotonics.com 5/13/2022Metrology and Surface Imaging Software PlatformThe fully 64-bit TrueMap® 6 software platform for surface imaging and analysis from TrueGage contains multi-threaded algorithms, a redesigned user interface, and new capabilities.
