Request InfoSAES Getters GroupAlexandrite solid-state laser crystals suitable for a variety of aesthetic medical uses have been released by SAES Opto. Lasers containing the crystal rods can be used for hair removal, leg vein reduction, and tattoo and pigmentation removal. Alexandrite lasers emit at 755 nm, well within the absorption spectrum of melanin. The uniform chromium concentration along the rod, which is certified for each boule, is achieved by using only about 20% of the melt. The rods have a melting point of 1870 °C and a density of 3.67 g/cm3.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSBioPhotonics Sep/Oct 2023 IssueNanoparticle Tracking Analysis SystemThe NanoSight Pro nanoparticle tracking analysis (NTA) system from Malvern Panalytical BV simplifies nanomaterials characterization through machine learning.
