Request InfoChroma Technology Corp.Chroma Technology Corp. has released the PhotoFluor, a high-output light source for fluorescence microscopy. The device combines a metal halide lamp with a sputtered heat-blocking optic to deliver light across the range from 340 to 650 nm. It allows bright imaging of DAPI, Hoechst and other UV-absorbing fluorochromes. Lamp life is ~2000 h, and the lamp exhibits minimal decrease in output over time. It features a five-position discrete neutral density wheel and an easy-to-use display and user interface.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSBioPhotonics Sep/Oct 2023 IssueOptical Stereo MicroscopesThe third-generation range of Mantis ergonomic optical stereo microscopes from Vision Engineering Ltd. feature improved optics for hand-to-eye coordination and depth perception.
