Request InfoProcess Sensors Corp., IR Temperature Div.MILFORD, Mass., Aug. 19, 2011 — Process Sensors Corp. has added the improved high-accuracy, low-temperature Metis Model MB35 sensor series to its line of precision noncontact infrared pyrometers. With an operating temperature range starting at 35 °C, the pyrometers use a lead selenide detector with filtered spectral response from 2 to 5 µm. Applications include CO2 laser heating, composites and metal surfaces above 35 °C. The emissivity of metallic surfaces decreases with shorter wavelengths, so the devices offer better performance than those with a longer-wavelength response, according to the company....See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPhotonics Spectra February 2024 IssueCircadian Light MeterThe MSC15-CS from Gigahertz-Optik is a handheld spectral circadian stimulus light meter that helps to model circadian phototransduction in humans by measuring optical radiation in industrial and...Photonics.com 8/3/2022Two-color Sandwich DetectorsTwo-color Sandwich Detectors from OSI Optoelectronics Inc. are designed for optical remote temperature measurements.
