Request InfoSumita Optical Glass Inc.New fluorescence glass fiber optics from Sumita Optical Glass Inc. are based on a borosilicate glass system for multicomponent optical glass fiber and show higher fluorescent efficiency than the company's Lumilass-G fluorescence glass. The material can be viewed under ultraviolet light and exhibits continuous excitation in the 200- to 400-nm ultraviolet region. The glass fiber has attenuation from 0.5 to 0.7 dB/m and is available in bundles consisting of 20,000 pixels. The bundle can be used in imaging and medical applications.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPromoted Content November 2022 IssueCustom Optical Time DelaysOptical time delays, also known as fiber delay lines, are critical in today's advanced fiber optic communications networks for latency-driven applications.
