Infrared Cores/Engines for OEMs
Sofradir EC has introduced a range of high-performance infrared cores/engines for OEM applications. Models are available that cover the SW, MW and LW infrared spectral bands and also in small or large format. SWaP designs are available for space/power constrained applications.

High Performance IR Interferometer
The M-Wave 339 is a state of the art LUPI (Laser Unequal Path Interferometer) operating at 3.39 micrometers. It is the ideal instrument for testing mid-wave infrared imaging components/systems and optical material homogeneity.

New Laser Rangefinder from FLIR
FLIR’s MLR-10K incorporates a 1mJ solid-state laser and proprietary APD receiver
into a lightweight (250g) range finder optimized for SWAP+C. Able to range continuously at 1Hz, the MLR-10K reports ranges within 10ms of range request. Range performance exceeds 10kM.

Lowest Cost, Best Performance Laser Rangefinder (LRF) Receiver
Voxtel’s ROX™ LRF receiver reduces laser pulse energy requirements by five times, so integrators can use low-power lasers to reduce system costs dramatically. ROX achieves industry-leading performance: excellent sensitivity (<2nW), fine range-resolution (<3mm), wide dynamic-range (70dB), and high damage-threshold (5MW/cm2).

Infrared Radiation Shields
Electroformed with multi-layer walls of copper, NiColoy®, and gold, sometimes containing internal baffles, the shields have tight dimensional and weight tolerances. Their internal and external surfaces are often coated, respectively, with high and low emissivity coatings, although other configurations and finishes are available upon request.

SPIE Defense, Security & Sensing 2013
SPIE Defense, Security, and Sensing, taking place April 29-May 3 at the Baltimore Convention Center, features distinguished plenary speakers, engaging workshops, important panel discussions, lively poster receptions, and more.
With ongoing pressures on travel and marketing budgets, it is more important than ever to select conferences that provide the highest return on investment. Defense, Security, and Sensing is the largest annual collection of conferences focused on imaging, sensors, lasers and system applications.
Highlights of this year’s conference include the special session on National Security Sensor Challenges on Wednesday, May 1 at 3:30 p.m. This Government National Security Leadership Panel will discuss the emerging sensor needs and challenge that must be overcome to provide security in the 21st century. Both long term breakthrough sensing challenges as well as nearer term cost, size and weight improvements to enable new mission capabilities will be addressed.
Defense, Security + Sensing holds the largest East Coast SPIE Job Fair of the year. Whether you're looking for a better job, re-entering the workforce or just starting out, plan to visit the Job Fair at Defense, Security + Sensing - come prepared to discuss your skills and talents with industry leaders!
