LASER World of PHOTONICS CHINA 2019 will open at Shanghai New International Expo Center on March 20-22, 2019. The trade fair will feature products and services in five areas: lasers and photonics, optics and optical manufacturing, laser production and processing, imaging and machine vision, and testing and measurement.

This year’s theme is “Intelligent Manufacturing with Light” and focuses on the advantages of laser technology and the innovations needed for Chinese industrial manufacturing to achieve smart manufacturing.

Industry players will exhibit their latest optical and photonics technologies. Organized by Messe München and Messe München Shanghai Co., Ltd., in collaboration with the Chinese Optical Society – Laser Processing Committee and the China Society of Image and Graphics (CSIG), the fair is expected to have close to 1000 exhibitors and attract over 60,000 professional visitors.

The exhibits will cover a range of topics that pertain to optical technologies. Sectors include lasers and optoelectronics, optics, manufacturing technology for optics, sensors, test and measurement, and optical measurement systems, imaging, lasers and laser systems for production engineering, optical information and communication, biophotonics and medical engineering, illumination and energy, and security.

The accompanying PHOTONICS CONGRESS CHINA will cover topics including laser processing, advanced lasers, optics, IR imaging, laser safety and beam analysis. Other conferences to be held along with the exhibition include the China International Machine Vision Technology & Application Conference and the Infrared Thermal Imaging Conference.

PHOTONICS CONGRESS CHINA will feature the 14th International Laser Processing and Systems Conference, the Chinese Laser Market Summit 2019, the 14th National Conference on Laser Technology and Optoelectronics, Optical Made in China 2025, a workshop on the safety of industrial lasers and systems use, and other fiber laser and simulation software training.

LASER World of PHOTONICS CHINA 2019 offers the possibilities of “intelligent light,” a concept that integrates laser, automation, machine vision, and a number of other sciences and technologies. It is applied in automobile, semiconductor, electronics, materials processing, aerospace and aviation, rail transport, home appliances and other areas for its efficiency, precision, and cost reduction. The integration of multiple technologies enables intelligent light to break through the barriers of traditional manufacturing and bring new, unprecedented vitality to the modern manufacturing industry.
