Request InfoCarl Zeiss Microscopy LLCA helium-ion microscope has been unveiled by Carl Zeiss SMT Inc. The Orion scanning ion microscope uses a beam of helium ions to image and measure, an approach that offers high resolution and an extended depth of focus. The microscope has a field of view from 1 mm to 100 nm and magnification from 100 to 1 million. The ion beam is <1 nm at 1 pA, with a beam current from 1 fA to 25 pA. The helium gas field ion source has a lifetime >1000 h.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSBioPhotonics Nov/Dec 2023 IssueSmart Imaging SystemThe ECLIPSE Ji from Nikon is a digital inverted microscope and smart imaging system which utilizes AI to automate the acquisition and analysis of cellular images, streamlining research workflows...Photonics Spectra October 2023 IssueMultiphoton Confocal MicroscopeThe AX R MP super-resolution multiphoton confocal microscope with the Nikon Spatial Array Confocal (NSPARC) detector is designed for observing deep areas within large living organisms with high...Photonics Spectra May 2024 IssueMicrospectrometersThe Lightblades™ Spectrometers from CRAIC Technologies are specifically designed for microspectroscopy in research, industrial, and academic applications.
