3 Scientists Share Nobel Prize in Physics for Work in Quantum Mechanics
STOCKHOLM, Oct. 4, 2022 — The 2022 Nobel Prize in physics has been awarded to Alain Aspect, John F. Clauser, and Anton Zeilinger. The trio will share the prize “for experiments with entangled photons, establishing the violation of Bell inequalities and pioneering quantum information science.” Aspect, professor at Université Paris-Saclay and École Polytechnique; Clauser, research physicist at J.F. Clauser and Associates; and Zeilinger, professor at the University of Vienna, were awarded
