II-VI FinisarSUNNYVALE, Calif., March 24, 2015 — Finisar Corp. has announced its CFP2-ACO coherent transceiver, supporting 100-G QPSK and 200-G 16QAM applications, as well as a flex-rate coherent transponder with internal digital signal processing and a 100-G ultralong fiber optic link. The transceiver uses linear radio-frequency drivers to support any modulation formation from 40/50-G BPSK to 200-G 16QAM. Separate lasers for transmission and reception allow the module to support different wavelengths in each direction. The device enables system vendors to offer high-density pluggable interfaces supporting 1 Tb/s or more on a line...See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPhotonics.com 4/23/2024OSFP TransceiverThe OSFP 800G SR8 from Approved Networks is a 800G OSFP transceiver meant for supporting data-intensive applications and enable real-time AI processing across networks for data centers and broadband...Photonics.com 3/24/2023TransceiverThe LoRa® Connect LR1121 transceiver from Semtech Corp. provides multiband versatility permitting for single, low-power chip use.
